| Artist: Chris Williams email: info@chriswilliamssculpture.com Website: www.chriswilliamssculpture.com/ "Celebrating the Cape Cod Native American Indians’ Way of Life" Cape Cod has been the home of the Wampanoag tribe of Native American People for many centuries. They survived off the sea and were accomplished farmers. They helped the Pilgrims, who arrived in 1620. At that time, the Meeshawn group who inhabited the Outer Cape used large cast nets as one of the ways to catch fish. The sculpture provides shade in the small dog section. |
