SAVE THE DATE
** September 25th **
As you probably know by now, in August Provincetown was named the
most dog-friendly town in America by Dog Fancy Magazine!
The Boston Globe's article of DogTown USA.)
The editor of Dog Fancy Magazine, Ernie Slone, will be officially
presenting this award to the Town on Saturday September 25th at
10 am on the steps of Town Hall. It will be a
gala event steeped in Provincetown heritage as the Town
Crier opens the ceremony and, in tradition of a bygone
era, announces the news to the community.
Please plan to attend and, of course, bring your dog--surely,
this will be a great photo opportunity to showcase just how dog
friendly Provincetown is!
To add to the excitement this award
ceremony happens to coincide with Pet Appreciation Weekend, an
annual tribute to our canine and feline friends hosted by CASAS.

Pilgrim
Bark Park's first float in Provincetown's annual
Carnival Parade whose theme was 'Jungle Fantasy ' this year.
An estimated crowd of 75,000 -- the largest ever--according to
our Chief of Police, jammed the Town's main street to watch the
festivities and vie for the colored beads being thrown into the
crowd from the floats.

HOLIDAY
GIFTS:
The holidays will soon be upon us. A brick
or bluestone in
Pilgrim
Bark Park makes a great gift!
Buy a brick or stone to celebrate or commemorate a loved one, or as
an advertising annuity for your business. We will be
submitting an order by year's end for installation in the
spring.
***All proceeds from bricks,
stones, and t-shirts go directly toward maintaining Pilgrim
Bark Park***
